Community Resource Guide is University Neighborhood Housing Program's NYC community information site. It's a goldmine of info resources on all parts of the city. Particularly check out their maps! iBrooklyn (New Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce site) Pratt Area Community Council is a community-based non-profit housing organization in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene--a great source for info and assistance with housing, business and real estate issues. Citizens Committee For New York City runs workshops, projects, and training programs relating to neighborhood organizing and leadership. Their site is a great source of info about the city and its various neighborhoods. Partnership For Parks is a joint program of the City Parks Foundation and the City of New York/Parks and Recreation. They promote improvement of neighborhood parks, including our own Crispus Attucks Park. Brooklyn.com Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Forum is a public bulletin board for local information and issues. Fifth Avenue Committee's Developing Justice Program offers ex-offenders assistance with housing, jobs, and education, as well as organizing and lobbying for prison reform. Brownstoner.com is a site about Brooklyn real estate--very useful if you're buying or selling a home. Clinton Hill Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a local organization which links community residents with farmers, enabling them to buy fresh produce directly at reduced prices. Gotham Gazette (a wealth of information about New York) Clinton Hill NeighborhoodLink (Information about Clinton Hill) Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church at Grand and Lefferts offers health workshops, educational programs, and various other services to the community. |
